5. Operations (Clause 8)
Operational requirements remain broadly stable, but terminology and traceability expectations are updated.
6. Performance Evaluation (Clause 9)
The revision reinforces leadership responsibility for measurable improvement, quality performance transparency, evidence-based decision-making & continuous organizational learning.
7. Continual Improvement (Clause 10)
The revised draft promotes enterprise-wide improvement culture, strategic improvement, resilience enhancement, anticipatory improvement, innovation-linked quality improvement. Improvement becomes more systemic and governance-oriented.
ISO 9001:2026 appears to reposition Quality Management Systems from process compliance systems toward adaptive organizational governance systems.
